What is Neuropathy?
Peripheral neuropathy occurs when the nerves that transmit information to and from your brain and spine to the rest of your body are damaged. When the nerves are damaged, the messages that they transmit are distorted, resulting in a variety of symptoms. The symptoms of neuropathy greatly depend on the type of nerves that are damaged, ranging from autonomic nerves, motor nerves, and sensory nerves.

Common Symptoms of Peripheral Neuropathy

  • Sharp shooting pains
  • Numbness
  • Tingling/Pricking Sensation
  • Sensitivity to touch
  • Muscle weakness or spasms
  • Difficulty moving your arms, legs or atrophy
  • Nausea

How We Treat Neuropathy
Rather than prescribing drugs that only hide the pain, or treatments that block the distorted nerve signals, our treatment method targets the root of the pain and re-builds nerve pathways to get them communicating properly again. This contributes to a reduction in symptoms.
